In 2012, a private archive of words, brands-that-could-be, and half-imagined ventures began to take shape under the stewardship of Founder & CEO Matheus Leite. What started as his personal collection slowly turned into a map of the internet we wished existed.

Over time, early-stage founders kept getting stuck at the same place—the name—and again and again, a domain from that archive unlocked the project, the pitch, or the funding conversation. Legendary Names was born from Leite's realization: some names shouldn't be flipped; they should be held, protected, and released only when the right story comes along.
